Having come from a family of physicians, I have always had a passion for medicine. I believe focusing on diagnostics and appropriate therapies is the key to offering the patient the best possible treatment under my care. I am a passionate teacher and strive to stay current in my knowledge of medicine and the latest advances.
I earned my medical degree at the University of Bombay and served as university faculty in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center. I am an assistant professor of medicine at Temple University and am presently a physician with Northern Valley Primary Care.
I am a board-certified internist who joined St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2012. I am an academic physician who has been in practice for the last 27 years. I specialize in the comprehensive care of patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I am responsible for coordinating their comprehensive clinical care and management. I am also interested in quality initiatives, practice management, improving patient quality of care and clinical outcomes. In addition I am focused on the education of future healthcare professionals as I have an active role in teaching both medical students and residents.
