Dr. Burke is a very good doctor. I feel she really cares and listens to me during appointments. I am appreciative of her attention and her respect for what I say during appts (and sometimes I have a lot to say). I also appreciate the fact that ST. Luke's tries to secure our feedback!

It was my first visit with Dr. Burke, and I consider myself very lucky to have found her practice. I was so comfortable with her, and the staff made me very at ease with my visit. The reason I didn't answer some questions if that they did not apply to a first appointment experience. All and all it was a very good experience for me.

With regard to the question about follow up regarding bloodwork results, I said they did not follow up. I meant in a phone call apart from my appointment. Results were discussed at length during my appointment.

This visit was a routine check on bloodwork/health but in the meantime I have a shoulder injury (don't remember injuring it) and can't raise my right arm properly. Advised Dr. Burke and she checked it out, ordered an x-ray and recommended PT so that my shoulder does not lock up. I find Dr. Burke to be a caring and well informed doctor and have recommended her to many.

I had a chronic cough so I went to the immergency room because I wasn't sleeping at night. They did all sorts of tests and ruled out pneumonia but couldn't identify the problem. The following week I had an appointment with Dr. Joanne Burke whom I've know for over 30 years, for a skin rash. She prescribed an antibiotic for for skin rash and immediantely identified the cough as bronchitis. I was delighted with her confidence kindness. Linda Anderson

I've been a patient of Dr. Burke for OVER 25 yrs. She has always treated me with respect and fantastic care. FYI, I'm a paramedic and retired police officer. She never talks "over my head." I look forward to my appointments.

Excellent physician. I always feel respected and cared for when seeing Dr. Burke. She really listens and wants to help. The staff is very compassionate and friendly. Feels like a family in the office. Very nice vibe. I don't usually like seeing doctors but it is a pleasure going to this office.

Dr. Burke has been my PCP for over 25 years. She always treats me with respect and in the highest professional. Being a Paramedic with 46+ years of experience I'm able to generally understand what my clinical conditions are. This time Dr. Burke made it a point to express that my Mental Health presentation was THE BEST that she has seen me in in a VERY LONG TIME. I really appreciated this observation and the manner in which she presented it to me. I'm a Type 2 Diabetic and we have discussed various meds to bring down my A1c and daily glucose checks via the ON LINE communication on the MY ACCOUNT program that St. Luke's utilizes. Dr. Burke responds in an appropriate time frame to my questions and concerns via this app.

Had my triannual bone density scan and she was concerned about the readings. Set up the appt to discuss the results and we had a discussion about a medicine I have been taking for a long time and she made a recommendation for a specific drug to improve my bone strength to conteract the effects of that drug on my bones. I agreed with he approach.
