I am a certified registered nurse practitioner who treats patients with pulmonary conditions such as asthma, chronic cough, recurrent wheezing, difficult or noisy breathing, exercise-related breathing difficulties and recurrent pneumonia. Prior to joining St. Luke’s, I worked as a pediatric primary care nurse practitioner and as a certified pediatric registered nurse in roles ranging from critical care to home infusion. I have more than 20 years of experience working with the pediatric population. I feel that educating my patients and families about their diagnoses and working together to develop a treatment plan is essential to improve overall patient health.
I graduated from Maryville University with a Master of Science in Nursing in a pediatric nurse practitioner program. I have previously received the Nursing Excellence Award for Education and have been a unit chair for Advancing Practice and Education. My certification is maintained through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, crocheting, kayaking and traveling.
