About Me

My passion is restoring function and improving quality of life through expert hand and upper extremity care. My approach combines cutting-edge techniques with a deep commitment to understanding each patient's unique needs and goals.

As a fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon at St. Luke's University Health Network, I specialize in treating a wide range of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and elbow. My expertise encompasses microsurgery, arthroscopy, and complex reconstructive procedures, with a particular focus on sports-related injuries, degenerative conditions, and traumatic injuries of these areas.

My medical training began at Drexel University College of Medicine, where I earned my Doctor of Medicine degree. I then completed my orthopedic surgery residency at University Hospital – Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, followed by a Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center - Harvard Medical School. This advanced training has equipped me with expertise in cutting-edge techniques for treating complex hand, wrist, and elbow conditions.

Throughout my career, I have been committed to advancing the field through research and clinical practice. My research interests include innovative surgical techniques and improving patient outcomes, and I have authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals exploring these topics. I have developed a keen interest in traumatic injuries of the hand, particularly distal radius fractures and risk stratification, with the aim to enhance treatment strategies and patient care in this area.

As part of a multidisciplinary team at St. Luke's, we offer patients a comprehensive approach to treatment, ensuring seamless care from initial diagnosis through rehabilitation. I take pride in staying at the forefront of advancements in my field, bringing the latest evidence-based treatments to my patients.

When not working, I enjoy staying active through golf, tennis, and skiing. These activities not only provide personal enjoyment but also give me valuable insight into the importance of hand, wrist, and elbow function in various aspects of life. I also have a passion for cooking, which allows me to exercise creativity and precision – skills that translate well to my surgical practice.

As a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, I am committed to providing compassionate, state-of-the-art care to each of my patients, helping them regain function and improve their quality of life through expert treatment of hand, wrist, and elbow conditions.
