About Me

I have treated patients with various conditions, symptoms and goals, since 1997. Understanding that every patient is different, I devise a treatment plan specific to each individual’s abilities and limitations. Our bodies are made to move freely. Postural stresses and faulty body mechanics often lead to pain and stiffness, negatively affecting our daily activities and even our rest.

As a chiropractic physician at St. Luke’s University Health Network, I dedicate my practice to treating joint, soft tissue and nerve-related conditions throughout the body and limbs. These conditions may arise from everyday activities, sports, auto accidents and work. I have a particular interest in treating patients with nerve symptoms and headaches. I aim to relieve pain and symptoms so patients can return to activities they enjoy. This is often accomplished by releasing soft tissues (muscles, tendons and ligaments) or nerve entrapments (pinched nerves) and improving joint mobility with soft tissue techniques and chiropractic manipulation.

I am certified in the Active Release Technique and Graston Technique, which have proven effective in treating soft tissues and nerve entrapments. Additionally, I am certified in Kinesio Taping methods, which assist in improving soft tissue flexibility and injury recovery time. As a patient’s symptoms subside, I add corrective and therapeutic exercises to address faulty movement patterns and decrease the likelihood of recurring symptoms or reinjury.

I am a cum laude graduate of New York Chiropractic College and am board-certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Pennsylvania State Board of Chiropractic. I am a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science. I have taken various post-graduate rehabilitation courses.

Throughout my career, I have worked in multidisciplinary orthopedic practices and outpatient hospital networks like St. Luke’s. I collaborate with physical medicine, rehabilitation physicians and spine surgeons to improve the quality of our patients’ lives. I have experience working with high school, college, amateur and professional athletes. As part of a volunteer team, I treated triathletes at the IRONMAN world championships in Kona, Hawaii.

I enjoy many outdoor activities, but my main interest is mountain biking. When my two adult sons are home, my wife and I enjoy spending time with them, including day trips to the beach or relaxing at home while listening to music.
