Dr Johnson is an amazing Dr and a true professional. As a former athlete, he had a thorough understanding of the importance of me being physically and mentally prepared to play college basketball this winter. He, and the PT team worked hand-in-hand with the medical team at Montclair State so that I would have an easy transition to college and my post knee surgery rehab. I have no problems highly recommending Dr Johnson to family and friends.

He has changed my expectations for doctors- he clearly reviewed my records before beginning the visit, provided multiple options for treatment and explained things clearly in easy to understand language (even taking the time to draw diagrams to help me understand different treatments)

Very pleased with my encounter with Dr. Johnson and his PA, Both were very aware of my needs and preferences and fully discussed treatment options. PA followed up personally by phone to answer questions I had sent through the portal. My questions were all answered with explanations, as necessary.

Dr.Johnson was so knowledgeable about my surgery to my rotator cuff he was so educated on the procedure that I felt totally comfortable. I went into the surgery completely relaxed. I woke from the surgery with no pain to this day I never used any ice or heat. My usage as of right now is 80% and I am back to work as a personal shopper lifting cases of water and 12 packs of soda and bags of dog food 51/2 months after the operation. Dr.Johnson has a personality that is so friendly and relaxed. On a scale of 1 to1000 he is definitely the 1000.I would recommend him to anyone that needs an orthopedic surgeon. Lastly I would recommend him as surgeon of the year at St.Luke's in Phillipsburg New Jersey. Thank you
