I always wanted to be a doctor ever since I was a child. I never wavered from that desire. During medical school, while on an international medicine rotation in Brazil, I was privileged to work with a plastic surgeon. I couldn’t believe my eyes, as the surgeon transformed wounded parts of the body and enabled them to heal. It was then, my choice was made. Today, I remain passionate about helping my patients heal and feel whole again.
Today, I am a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with St. Luke’s University Health Network. I completed a fellowship in microsurgical reconstruction from MD Anderson Cancer Center. My specialized training allows me to offer the latest reconstructive techniques for breast cancer, head and neck cancer and limb salvage. Additionally, I perform a full spectrum of plastic surgery including facial rejuvenation, breast and body contouring, liposuction, etc. My goal is to give each patient a personalized experience to help them feel their very best.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and four children. They inspire me every day! I am also an avid reader, love to travel and enjoy the outdoors.
