I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in all childhood and adolescent orthopedic conditions. My areas of expertise include scoliosis and other spine disorders, orthopedic fractures and more. I am experienced in the most updated techniques and procedures utilized today.
I graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and earned a Bronze Star Medal during military service overseas. I trained at one of the most highly-ranked pediatric orthopedic surgery programs in the country, and I gained experience working at both adult and pediatric Level-1 trauma centers in Philadelphia and Dallas for several years before moving to the Lehigh Valley to be closer to my wife’s family.
I am a nationally active researcher, author on numerous publications and the recipient of multiple research awards in the field of orthopedics. I am a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) and the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North American (POSNA). I also served on the POSNA Trauma Committee.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young daughters, and doing anything involving a mountain or trailhead.
The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our nationally recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score.
