"This provider" is my oncologist. He does not supply routine care, so many of the initial questions don't really apply to our relationship. He was not my doctor during my initial bout of cancer; he was not even my first oncologist. However, I've now seen him three times, and he is very much up to speed on my case, and I have complete trust in him that he will be there for me if I need him. He is very knowledgeable and thorough, and as we have gotten to know each other, I feel better and better about working with him. The staff at this facility has always been excellent, and that continues with Dr. Albandar.

This was only my second visit with Dr. Albandar. We are still developing a relationship. I am impressed with his knowledge, his preparation for my visit and his attention to details. I am being monitored because I had thyroid cancer surgery 6 1/2 years ago. I am very informed about my condition and don't need tons of advice. What I liked was that Dr. Albandar recognized that he was dealing with someone who had informed opinions, and he was willing to listen and make my treatment a partnership. The staff in this office is EXTREMELY efficient and very welcoming.
