As a surgeon and father of two young girls, I believe in treating all patients as if they were a member of my own family. I take great pride in my ability to guide patients and their families through the stressful experience of a trauma or the correction of a debilitating deformity. My specialty training has provided me with the unique skills to treat all aspects of pediatric orthopedics from simple to complex.
I am a board eligible orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopedics. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH and completed both medical school and residency in Pennsylvania. Following my residency in orthopedic surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, I went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Washington University/Shriner’s Hospital in Saint Louis. While in fellowship, I received extensive training in general pediatric orthopedics including trauma, sports medicine, and hip dysplasia. During my time in St. Louis I was privileged to be trained by renowned pediatric orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Matthew Dobbs, a world leader in the treatment of clubfeet. I am also passionate about deformity correction and am well versed in the latest techniques in limb reconstruction including computer assisted external fixation and the ellipse intramedullary lengthening nail.
I joined St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2020 following a short time in private practice. I am excited to bring my expertise as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon to the network, allowing families in the Lehigh Valley to receive specialized care closer to home.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two daughters. I am also a huge basketball and football fan, an avid fisherman and nature lover.
