During my visit with Dr. Akbar, I mentioned a CTA scan I was to have in two days and she quickly told me that I could not have the procedure done with contrast. She immediately contacted my neurologist; the test was canceled and two new procedures were requested. She is an excellent nephrologist.

Dr. Akbar made my consultess stressful than when I went in. She took her time with me asking g questions and listening to my answers. She provided prompt follow up on the first set of labs and prompt follow up on the remaining labs when they came in. Glad to have her as my Nephrologist!!!!

This was my first visit to Dr. Akbar and I found her to be very pleasant and easy to talk to. She listened to my questions and explain everything to me. She made me feel more relaxed soon into the visit. I was very happy with her and the staff, they were all very pleasant.
