This was my first appointment with Dr. Burfeind and was very, very pleased. He is such a pleasant, caring person. He did not give too much information that would have scared me but gave me information that I could ask questions or investigate further. When I was initially informed who I was going to be seeing for my condition, I researched him in St. Luke's website to read about him. After seeing his information, I said to my husband that he has a friendly, caring face and was hoping that his personality would match. And It does. He is so unassuming and easy to talk to. I have spoken to a few nurses who know him from working with him at St. Luke's, and they all said the same thing: He is a wonderful person and great to work with. I am so happy I was "assigned" to him.

*Dr. Burfeind is a very informative & caring doctor. He is competent & makes you feel at ease. He wasn't afraid (as other doctors were) to touch my neck where I had the problem. I will definitely see him again if need be.
