This visit was for MOS surgery. Many of the questions do not even pertain to the specialty. This was my first visit and I was treated with utmost respect. My dermatologist had retired and I needed to find a new specialist. I have found my new Doctor. The staff assisting the Doctor were informative and always checking to insure I was comfortable during the procedure. Those are the answers you really should be asking. There is really no separate receptionist for MOS and the Dermatology office.

Removal of a Squamous Cell growth on the back of my left hand was completed successfully with precision and skill by Dr. Abidi. The surgical site is healing nicely. Minimal pain, no drainage. Very clean site.

The appointment was for Mohs surgery. The provider, Dr. Abidi, and all staff were professional, courteous and attentive. All aspects of the procedure were carefully explained with multiple opportunities for me to ask questions. I had additional areas of concern that I had not identified prior to this visit. Each area was carefully examined and discussed with me. I was grateful to NOT have to schedule an additional derm appointment. Also, the surgical wound closure was discussed and I was included in the planning of how the wound should be closed. I felt listened to and care for. I will definitely requst Dr. Abidi if future skin surgery is needed.

I had showed up at the wrong office location AND I was 10 minutes late. My babysitter was late, I did not know I was supposed to go to a different office than usual, and I was very upset because I did not want to push my procedure back. The receptionist was beyond helpful and so friendly even though I was visibly upset and not very polite. Dr. Abidi was kind enough to squeeze me in to her schedule when she was not even the provider I was supposed to see. The attending nurse and Dr. Abidi were fantastic. They explained the entire procedure to me, they answered my million questions, they were reassuring, they listened to all of my concerns and made me feel very comfortable. The procedure was completed flawlessly and they carefully explained all of the next steps. I can't say enough good things about this office and I have recommended my 4 siblings, my parents and my husband. I am also interested in more services and will definitely be coming back to Dr. Abidi. This was by far the best care I have ever received from a St Luke's specialty office.

I typically see Dr Braden. After a biopsy showed melanoma, she recommended that I see Dr Abidi for an excision within 30 days. The team called back with an appt in less than 2 weeks. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Abidi showed genuine concern for my feelings. She validated and yet reassured me. She explained the entire procedure and drew the incision lines for me to see before answering all of my questions. She took time to make sure I was comfortable, and even brought her phone in to play music of my choice during the procedure. She was through, calm, and compassionate. The procedure was painful and unpleasant, but I had full confidence in Dr Abidi. I am very pleased with her care, and while I hope I never have to go through melanoma again, I know that if I do, Dr. Abidi will be there to guide and care for me. I can't say enough good things about her, and I feel very blessed for her care during this difficult time.
