Dr. Abidi prides herself in being meticulous with her technique and is passionate about getting to know her patients and working with them to offer them a comfortable, low-anxiety surgical day with a cancer-free outcome!
Dr. Abidi completed her medical school training and internship at Thomas Jefferson University and Lankenau, Main Line Health and then went on to train in dermatology at the University of Missouri, Columbia where she worked at both the University’s main hospital as well as the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
She credits her time at the University of Missouri with instilling in her a love for surgery and procedural dermatology that led her to pursue further training in Mohs micrographic surgery and Dermatologic Oncology, a surgical sub-specialty in dermatology, at The Ohio State University. Although her focus is Mohs Micrographic Surgery and procedural and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Abidi sees general dermatology patients as well.
Dr. Abidi is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology and a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Abidi enjoys spending time with her husband, Sam, a local periodontist and their baby boy, Haris. She is an avid reader and an amateur painter.
