I dedicate my practice to providing safe and compassionate care to children. I enjoy teaching children and their parents about making healthy decisions to try to prevent illness. When faced with medical issues, I feel that it is important that their concerns are heard and addressed. I will work with the child and family as he/she works toward recovery and celebrate together when back to feeling better.
I am a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Virginia. I went on to earn my Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in pediatric primary care at University of Pennsylvania. I have experience in many areas of pediatrics including the acute setting of critical care and the emergency department as well as in primary care. I have also spent time in the specialty arenas of pediatric gastroenterology and pediatric urology.
I have special interest in Celiac disease, motility disorder and general nutrition.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, going hiking or to the beach, baking and of course, eating what I bake!
The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our nationally recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score.
