Dr. Sommer is one of the best. I only met him in the last 6 months, but I find him to be caring and very knowledgeable. He did not talk done to me. He did not ridicule me when I said that I did not want to take a statin. He had a lot of facts to support his feelings and we agreed to me having some testing and then moving forward with medication, based on the results of the testing. We spent a good deal of time discussing the results and the adternatives. We came to an agreement about treatment, but I did not feel pressured into making a decision against my will. This was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend Dr. Sommer to anyone needing treatment.
