Dr Cheng IS my usual provider at South Mt Family Practice.She ALWAYS listens to my concerns/questions and has great solutions/ideas.She is NEVER condescending or brusque.Can't ask for more than that, really.The front office is diligent and friendly.Very accomodating.These are the reasons I have BEEN with this practice for 44 years!

I was so relieved to find Dr Cheng had an available appointment the morning I call in sick with bronchitis, sinusitis and an eye infection. She checked me out thoroughly and prescribed an antibiotic, a cough syrup and an antibiotic eye drop for me. She knows me well enough to know what I need, and I respect and appreciate her knowledge and professionalism. Going to SMFP is like going home to visit with family. Everyone there is friendly and kind. Just the kind of doctor's office you want to go to, especially when you're not feeling well. Love the practice and the people in it!!!

Not evident from the questions and answers is this: I called South Mt and asked to be seen by ANYONE! Bonnie(front desk) was able to obtain an app't with my fam-dr (Cheng).Not only THAT--but she asked if I could come IMMEDIATELY. Living only blocks away, I COULD and DID. What a nice, caring bunch of ppl they have up there. I can NOT say enough about the quality of care--from everyone. I have been with this practice for 43 yrs and this is the reason. Many thanks to all at South Mt!
