I would like to commend all that worked in this office to help as best as possible. They were busy with many patients and doctors in this office. Yes, I had to wait my turn in order to get my surgery scheduled. I am one that has some patience in order to do this. I just wished I could have gotten an appointment sooner than this month. I was told when I made the appointment there wasn't a list to be put on if someone else cancelled their appointment That I could have seen him sooner. My condition is slowly deteriorating each day. I need this surgery BAD.

At the end of my visit after examining my knee, he said that I was healing great and that I would not need any further treatment and I would not have to come back any more. This was my first visit to Dr Nwacuhuku. He came highly recommended by my PC provider as well as the research I did. I now have a base line with my knee, and I liked that he has a conservative approach to ease my discomfort and swelling and the steps we'll take as the arthritis progresses. I was impressed with his explanations of my situation as well as his professional care and concern.

I was referred to Dr. Nwachuku by a senior surgeon/physician due to some serious problems with the surgeon who did my hip replacements and his colleagues. The primary surgeon, his back-specialist surgeon, and the pain-management doctor were all asked a specific question of fact (both verbally and in writing) and the question was never answered. The senior surgeon/physician, who has a senior position in the St. Luke's organization, intervened and arranged for the appointment with Dr. Nwachuku.Dr. Nwachuku and his entire staff were seemingly intelligent, sensitive, and attentive to my problems and concerns rapidly and apparently as an efficient team. Relatively quickly, Dr. Nwachuku evaluated my described concerns and manifestations, did what he could with the data he was given, and then arranged for a more diagnostic series of tests in the very near future (less than a week), with a follow-up appointment with another specialist. The efficiency, effectiveness and sympathy with my problems was extremely visible in his team as a whole, and with each of the members whom I met.

Dr. Nwachuku is an amazing surgeon who saved my life 12 years ago & the only one I would consider helping me when I needed a new hip which after the first surgery he let me know I might need a new hip a few years later. I waited too long before calling him because of all life throws at us but when I did call an appt was scheduled & at that appt. X-rays were done & my surgery was scheduled. Dr. Nwachuku is such a personable & caring man & has always made me feel at ease & safe when he described how things would go. I was not nervous at all the day of the surgery & all of the staff In the operating room were also above & beyond supportive & made me feel safe. I would recommend him to anyone because of his skill & caring nature! There are not enough words to say how thankful I am for all he has done for me!

As for Dr. Nwachuku there are not enough kind words to describe his demeanor. He was thorough, kind and spent as much time as needed with me. What I was not expecting, and delighted to have experienced, was his kind heart and compassion for me (and, I'm sure, all his patients). He is the best orthopedic surgeon and has a team that works well together. The time I spent with him and them was productive and resulted in my having a complete care plan with my questions answered. After the visit, I was directed to the receptionist for check out, as usual. She told me to call for an appointment for interventional radiology and I told her I had been instructed that she, or the surgical scheduler would do that for me. I was glad that I knew that. It's much faster when that is done for me.

This was my first visit with Chinenye Nwachuku MD at St. Luke's Orthopedic Specialists Easton Hospital. I was very impressed! Dr. Nwachuku is friendly, smart and motivating. While he was efficient and kept the pace moving he also didn't make me feel rushed, reviewed important info with me and focused on what is important. Also, he was firm but kind in his delivery of things I must do to help me own health. He also looked beyond what I need to do in ordered to see how he can help me. He should start teaching doctors because this is so rare. I unfortunately visit many doctors and this office out ranks even the good ones. The staff was friendly and upbeat. I was shocked when I was told the dr was ordering a X-ray and someone would be coming to take me for it. Wow this was huge! What a great idea to have the ability to get this information immediately. Usually, the dr orders a X-ray, talks about what they suspect/next steps and then you leave, go somewhere for the X-ray and wait a month for the next available appointment with the doctor before ever getting treatment. The only thing that could be problematic with this office is the parking. There are few spaces and it appeared as though Easton hospital work vans took up three or four of them. The wait time was longer than expected but the waiting room was A+. I didn't need to use the cellphone charging station but whomever thought to put it there is a saint. There was plenty of seating for all size people including the bench at both registration windows. My experience with most offices is one larger seat that gets moved to registration. If there's one in the waiting area it's usually taken by a smaller sized person because they hate the small chairs too. It's embarrassing to have to ask someone to move or just stand. Overall the caring, compassionate environment within this office could be felt immediately and is commendable. St Luke's would be wise to look closely at how this office is set up and how it is being managed so they could replicate it everywhere. I feel like changes could be made very quickly that would make a real difference to people and make them loyal to St Luke's.
