The only reason the doc Alexander S Newton, DPM didn't have my records was because my former doctor wanted me to pay 150 dollars for St Luke's to have them .The staff really went to bat for me and tried their hardest to retrieve them...they tried several different routes to get them.

Dr Newton is an excellent doctor. He knew I had a bad experience with a procedure in another foot doctor's care and he was very patient. He made sure that my toe was totally numb before doing the procedure. He is very knowledgeable. His after care instructions were very clear and understandable. 5 stars

Dr. Newton is a good soul. He has be taking care of my feet now for over 2 years and doing the best he can to keep me on my feet feet & In least pain possible. When your doctor is booked full 3 months In advance that's got to say something. Calling the main # to book appointment with him the earliest I could see him was August 7th. I sent him a message through My St. Luke's and within 24 hrs the office called me and gave me appointment in less then a week. Dr. Newton stood by his word that IF I needed him he fit me in and he did. Good honest man...

I really like this doctor. He was very well informed about my condition. He also gave me explanations and solutions. He seems to be very knowledgeable about feet. And he has a good sense of humor.

I had a great experience with Dr Newton & the Lehighton staff. Dr Newton didn't just rely on imaging & tests, he listened & upon re-examination discovered the tests were not conclusive. He used critical thinking & clinical measures to diagnose my condition & then fix said problem. I am pain free & do not limp when walking. That result is all because of Dr Newton. I am grateful. He also has the best jokes!

I am a diabetic and see Dr. Newton every 9 week for routine nail care. He is always professional, friendly and humorous! If I have a concern (in grown toe nail, callous, etc.) he always addresses it and deals with my problem promptly! He is an asset to St. Luke's.
