I am a physician assistant at St. Luke’s Anderson Pediatrics and also in the newborn nursery at St. Luke’s Anderson Campus. I believe that I have the best job in the world! To witness the first few days of a newborn’s life is amazing. The opportunity to watch that infant grow and develop into their own unique self is truly a privilege. I have always wanted to work in pediatrics, and I love it! For me, the unexpected part has been how much I enjoy witnessing and supporting parents in the most important job in the world. I am a mom of three children, and I am a mom first. I will never recommend anything for your child that I wouldn’t do for my own.
I am passionate about the role that nutrition and physical fitness play in the quality of our lives as we age. I believe that it is crucial to instill these healthy habits from a very early age.
I graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics. After working for several years as a dietitian, I returned to school to obtain my master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Drexel University.
Outside of work, I enjoy working out, hiking, taking walks with friends, going to the beach and spending time with my children. I travel to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where my family lives, as frequently as possible.
The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our nationally recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score.
