My practice is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of children with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver. I am a pediatric gastroenterologist at St. Luke's University Health Network. I care for patients ranging in age from newborns to young adults. Not only do I enjoy developing relationships with my patients over time, but I also like seeing them in both the hospital and office settings. In turn, I believe my patients are comforted by seeing a familiar face during stressful situations.
I received my Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) in Brooklyn, NY and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical science from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at The City College of New York. I received residency training in pediatrics at the Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, NY. Subsequently, I completed both clinical and research fellowships in pediatric gastroenterology at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and a clinical fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital. I was named to Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Doctors 2018.
I have a special interest in nutrition, Celiac disease and inflammatory bowel disease. I take great pride with staying up to date with advances and new procedures in my field.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my three children and am involved with their soccer, swimming, baseball and girl scouts. When I have extra time, I enjoy making furniture.
