Frank Baloh is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and The Milton S. Hershey Medical School. After completing his residency in Ophthalmology at The University of Virginia, Dr. Baloh went on to further specialize in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He was awarded a subspecialty fellowship in Oculoplastic surgery with Robert Dryden, M.D. at The University of Arizona, after which he began his own practice in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery in 1995. He lives in Allentown, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children.
Dr. Baloh’s practice encompasses both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. His extensive ophthalmic education and certification means that he is trained to deal with the pathology of the eye. Thyroid disease, various cancers, tear-drainage and eyelid abnormalities might all require Dr. Baloh’s specialized surgical intervention. Dr. Baloh also works closely with skin cancer dermatology surgeons to reconstruct eyelids and periocular regions following tumor excision. Dr. Baloh came to the Lehigh Valley to join Lehigh Valley Eye Center in 1998 to fill the need for someone with his training and credentials.
