About Me

I am a board certified Nephrologist at St. Luke’s University Health Network. I enjoy all aspects of Nephrology but have particular interest in electrolyte disorders, acute kidney injury, glomerular diseases and dialysis therapy.

I like to keep myself updated in the field of Nephrology. I believe in listening to my patients and educating them on diseases or conditions affecting them so that they can advocate for their own health.

I completed my residency in Internal Medicine from Maimonides Medical Center, New York and my fellowship in Nephrology from University of Oklahoma, Tulsa. I am also an active member of American Society of Nephrology.

Dr. Agrawal is a very knowledgeable, understanding, and personable person. He takes whatever time is necessary to fully answer my questions and concerns, and this is both during and after he reviews my charts from various test's and procedures that occurred prior to this visit. GREAT doctor!!!

Our appointment with Dr. Agrawal was a much needed visit for guidance and further treatment if needed. Dr. Agrawal came well prepared with my prior medical data that helped with understanding our numbers. He explained in detail about kidney disease. He was very patient and gave us time to hear and answered all our questions. We felt very respected through the appointment and his sensitivity for our nervousness and anxiety is much appreciated. The guidance and follow up was well explained and guided. We are glad to have met Dr. Agrawal and have scheduled our future appointment with him. He also followed up on MyChart after a part of the results were published.

Kidney disease is confusing. No symptoms! Dr. Agrawal and his staff are very good at giving information clearly. He explains the tests and what the results mean. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Agrawal monitoring my kidney health!
