Dr. McCarthy was very understanding of my long term back pain from an old injury. He ordered an MRI so that he could really pinpoint the problem that other providers were only willing to order an X-Ray.

Dr. McCafferty is a TEACHER and a doctor at the same time! He explains every test and tells you about the anatomy of an injury and how it occurred and what to do to get better. He truly cares about every aspect of his patients health physically & mentally.

Dr. McCafferty and staff were of the utmost professional, knowledgeable caring people. I really can't say enough about how highly Dr. McCafferty's performance was during my procedure - he really is an asset to St. Lukes !!!! I was very impressed with his caring bedside manner. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing care.

I do have to return for an injection, however I would definitely go back if I need to in the future. I left my visit confident in what was discussed and what was being done to help solve my problem. I am in the process of transferring totally into the St Luke's system and he was a big help answering my questions about that. Most definitely would recommend him to others.

He listened to my description of my condition, provided a diagnosis is easy to understand terms, made recommendations to improve my condition adjusting for what I communicated as my limitations. We set a plan for treatment and follow up. He was professional, likeable and developed trust quickly.
