About Me

I received my Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, an affiliate of the University Of California SF Medical School. My podiatric medical and surgical internship was in Tacoma, WA, at Madigan Army Medical Center and Tacoma Veterans Affairs Hospital. My surgical residency was at St Mary's Hospital in Hoboken, NJ, where I was elected Chief resident.  I am extensively trained in comprehensive foot and ankle surgery and lower extremity foot and ankle reconstruction. I am board certified and am a Fellow American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS), American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) and a member of American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association (PPMA), American Professional Wound Care Association (APWCA), and American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM).  I  proudly serve as a surgical instructor at the Podiatric residency program at St. Luke’s University Health Network

Sports Injury and trauma are one of my specialties and I am recognized for outstanding results in the correction of deformities and improvement of function in the foot and ankle. I am also very passionate about the health of my Diabetic patients and have achieved unparalleled success rates in the treatments of neuropathy, diabetic wound management and limb preservation.  I lecture nationally on diabetic limb preservation and wound management.

My practice treats all deformities affecting the foot, ankle or lower leg including traumatic injuries, flat feet, bunion correction, heel pain and pediatric deformities.

I currently live in the Lehigh Valley with my wife and two children. My family is very active in the local youth sports community and I am a youth sports coach and a runner.  I volunteer my time to the American Diabetes Association and sit on the board of the Team Carly Rocks Foundation supporting research for Juvenile Type I diabetes. I enjoy working and volunteering in the community and you will often see me at health related events or hear me on the radio with Bobby Gunther Walsh throughout the year to educate the public on the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle.
