About Me

I am a child psychiatrist. After growing up in the Philadelphia area, I went to Albright College, where I met my wife. I attended the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. After graduating, I lived in New York City for five years, as I completed my residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Zucker Hillside Hospital – Northwell Health.

I chose to join St. Luke’s Psychiatric Associates in 2017 because I was excited to be part of a Network that was investing in mental health treatment and had a dedicated Psychiatry Residency program, a program in which I have the privilege of contributing also as a teacher. In addition to teaching, I am a member of the Admission Committee for St. Luke’s School of Medicine. Throughout my time at St. Luke’s, I have also served as the Outpatient Medical Director for Psychiatry and helped to develop St. Luke’s YESS! Program, a school-based therapy program. I have enjoyed helping our department grow and evolve as the need for mental health care has significantly increased. Today, St. Luke’s offers children and adolescents the full spectrum of mental health services.

I focus on quality improvement and support our current team as we aim to meet the highest standards of care and patient service.  I enjoy working closely with the Pediatric Department, providing consultations with Pediatric Specialty Center provider, and integrating mental health within pediatrics.

In addition to my work at St. Luke’s, I am passionate about giving back to the community. I have been involved with various research projects and serve on several local boards and committees.

In my free time, I enjoy running and have participated in each of St. Luke’s 5k races since joining the Network. I live in the Lehigh Valley with my wife, daughter and son. As a family, we enjoy spending time volunteering locally and in other parts of the country. Recently, we went on a mission trip to Israel.
