My visit went very well. Cory Hicks PA explained my diagnosis, which Is a biceps tendon rupture, requested and explained xrays, and provided a treatment plan. He is very personable, knowledgeable, and thorough.

I had an injury on a Thurs, called Fri for an appt for early the next week in case knee was still swollen. I was surprised to get an appt right ton Monday but had to take any ortho provider that was available. I didn't mind too much as I don't have a reg ortho doc anyway, but it was given with a PA, not a physician. I also do not mind seeing a PA, and the list was quick and easy. I felt PA was knowledgable and professional.

Cory went beyond the usual duty and found another specialist to confer with regarding possible treatment strategies. It was a very thoughtful and kind thing to do that helped me make my decision easily

Corey Hicks is a fantastic physician assistant! He is so kind and sweet answered all my questions look me in the eyes was very caring and he is great at his job I would highly recommend him to any new patient! I love having him as my care taker! He deserves a raise!

Corey Hicks was very attentative as to why I had come to see him. A little back story, That morning during the end of physical therapy, I was getting off the table to get heat on my hip and back, I had started to get up from a laying down position and all of a sudden my right hip had LOCKED UP!!!! Eventually, I had gotten to a sitting position on the table and very slowly, I had slid myself off the table to a chair to get the heat. Immediately, I had called Dr. Heckman's office, told him what had happened. And within 5 minutes later, I had a call from the clinical team from his office, telling me what my options are. I eventually got settled on, see one of his colleagues. Although, It was quite a jog to get to the office to see Corey. When I got to the office, no later than I was sitting for less than 5 minutes, Corey came buzzing into the exam room. He was asking me all the corresponding questions, moving my hip in ways I thought was not possible. But, I would like to add that when Corey was putting in the orders for the procedure that I was going to have, he somehow, DID NOT put it in right and the scheduling coordinator caught it. GO LINDA!!!!!! As it is not my place to tell him how to do his job. I would advise him to slow down when putting in any kind of orders. It would only take ONE wrong key stroke to send anything south. Other than that, everything went great

Positive experience overall. Diagnosed with Achille's tendonitis initially. Recommended PT which didn't help. Had x-rays - inconclusive. Sent for MRI - all handled professionally & kindly! Nice staff.
