I greatly appreciate that Dr. Karen Brown ordered routine bloodwork related to medical clearance for cataract surgery. It was because of that bloodwork that we discovered my triglycerides were dangerously high (640) and that my vitamin D was low. We discussed a plan of action, and repeated the bloodwork in 4 months with amazing results. She showed professionalism, kindness and compassion.
