Originally from Philadelphia, I received my Bachelors degree from Rutgers University, and completed my medical school education at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. I went on to complete my residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, where I also completed my fellowship training in Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery. I am board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and hold a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Hand Surgery.
I have extensive experience in hand and microvascular surgery as well as complex wrist and elbow reconstruction. My experiences have led to numerous scientific publications and I have also given presentations on various subjects regarding hand, wrist, and elbow surgery. I have also served in multiple academic roles, including being faculty with the prestigious AO-North American Hand Group.
In my spare time, I enjoy running and road biking, as well as spending time with my family.
