I am a board certified neurologist and have had the privilege of working as a neurohospitalist at the St Luke's University Health Network. I treat a variety of acute neurologic conditions such as strokes, seizures, inflammatory neuropathies, and severe headaches. I really enjoy working with patients and their families in the acute care setting because I am taking care of patients at their worst, vulnerable state, and can often see dramatic improvement which is a very gratifying feeling. I also enjoy teaching the 3rd and 4th year Temple medical students. My research has focused on chronic pain and I have a specific interest in musculoskeletal pain disorders.
I chose medicine because I want to make a difference in people’s lives and chose neurology because I believe it’s a fascinating field in which we have much to explore with tremendous upside in improving people’s lives. It has been exciting given the recent advancements in acute stroke care.
My hobbies include lifting weights, attending sporting events, kayaking, swimming, and racquetball.
I look forward to serving the Lehigh Valley community for many years to come.
