William M Markson, MD Always pleasant

I was very nervous and upset when I received a phone call concerning the results of the Nuclear Stress Test that Dr. Markson ordered for me. During the call I was informed that I had a Moderate Heart Attack at some point but the person on the phone said they were unsure when. Heart disease runs in my family however, after thinking about the phone call, I realized that if it was urgent, Dr. Markson would have scheduled an appointment for me ASAP. When I did have my appointment with Dr. Markson a few months later, he assured me that I did NOT have a heart attack. He showed me the results of the test on a monitor and explained that the test showed a slight abnormality but nothing to worry about. So whoever read the Nuclear Stress Test originally, read it wrong!! I've had many health issues in my lifetime so I am used to waiting for results and I try not to worry until I see the doctor to find out if there's a problem. But, this incident/phone call could be very scary for some people that are normally very healthy.

The nurse working with Dr. Markson (her name might be Tamara?) patiently went thru channels to get my recent EKG results faxed from my primary physician, rather than repeat the EKG. She seems to be so competent. The whole office from office staff to nursing and physician runs like a well-oiled machine.
