Dr.Ackerman and staff were awesome! Very professional, took the time to truly listen to my health concerns, my medical history, we reviewed everything. Dr. Ackerman did not rush through the visit he was thorough gave me several treatments options explained each in detail. His whole staff was caring. I left feeling really good about the whole experience.

Dr. Ackerman is my favorite doctorand I have many! He's so knowledgeable, kind, caring and informative. He listens with great compassion and always answers all my questions. He spends a great deal of time with me and I never feel rushed. He knows everything about my many health challenges and has great input about them all. I am beyond happy to be in Dr. Ackerman's care and highly recommend him.

I have had migraines for over 20yrs and have had over ten to twelves neurologists in that time period. Dr. Ackerman is one of the best neurologists I've had. He listens attentively. He's thorough and doesn't rush. He provides a lot of options and choices. He doesn't give an defeatist attitudes. He's hopeful and optimistic. He's polite and courteous. He's caring and compassionate. I'm very lucky to have found a good neurologist after looking so long for someone.

This was a six month follow up appointment. Because I saw a different physician within this practice in the ER very recently and was given a different opinion of my diagnosis, Dr. Ackerman took the time to clarify the possible reason that my test results could have been interpreted differently and reassured me that the original diagnosis was correct. Dr. Ackerman couldn't have been more respectful and encouraging! In addition, he has always responded to my questions on St. Luke's MyChart. I must also add that his office always follows through with call backs about appointments. THANK YOU, St. Luke's!

I've seen a number of neurologists. Very few really take the time with me to understand my struggles. Dr Ackerman did not rush through the appointment. He spent a long time with me. He gave me several options for treatment and alternatives. He was hopeful and optimistic. He listened to my hopes and opinions and took them into account. I am very relieved to find a neurologist that really makes me feel supported.
